The UPVC Hardware Logo Redesign recently tasked me to give them a new modern approach. Based in Elland, West Yorkshire, they supply hardware to repair double glazed UPVC windows and doors fitted over the last 30 years. Having a vast array of products online, they wanted to modernise their current branding to sit better in the current market.
I started with my usual sketching process and liked the idea of incorporating the ‘U’ into something rated to the company. The door handle lent itself for this perfectly. Several sketches later, I started work and came up with the logo you see now. A few font changes later, we decided on Red Hat Display which gives the modern look that they required. It is a clean and easy to read font and was perfect for this logo.
I’m looking forward to seeing the new branding being launched on the website and to see the new vehicles on the road.
