I’ve recently finished this Tech Recruitment Branding project and wanted to share the results. Technology recruitment has always been a competitive field. It is important that the design of a brand reflects this. The design of VelocityTech’s branding and logo design was created by Matt Sykes. He is a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in his field.
The company wanted to create a modern, sleek and professional look for their branding and logo design. They wanted to portray their company as being reliable, trustworthy, and innovative with an edge. To do this they needed to have a clean and simple logo design with the right colours that matched their brand personality.
VelocityTech’s logo design is a combination of their two core colours: purple and blue. The logo is designed to represent the innovation and progression in technology, while still maintaining an air of professionalism. The company is a startup that develops innovative solutions for the tech recruitment on various platforms.
For this Tech Recruitment Branding I started in my usual way and got sketching. From this I produced 5 unique designs to present to the client for feedback. From the feedback and worked on various version until the client was 100% happy with the designs.

For this project I produced a brand guide to help keep the look and feel of the business consistent. A corporate branding guidelines is a set of rules that a company follows in order to promote their brand and produce consistent content. It includes guidelines on colours, fonts, space, and colour usage.
